HOPPET, written by Gavin Salam, and released under the GNU Public License, has been under development since 2001 with more recent contributions by Juan Rojo. Originally designed for matching fixed-order and resummed results for event-shape distributions in DIS (Dasgupta and Salam, JHEP 0208 (2002) 032), it has gradually become a full DGLAP evolution package, used for accurate benchmarks (in collaboration with Andreas Vogt, with his QCD-Pegasus program) in the context of the Les Houches (Physics at TeV Colliders) and Hera/LHC workshops.
